Morning: Depart early from Nairobi (by road or air) and travel to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photos. Arrive at Ashnil Mara Camp by midday and check in. Afternoon: Have lunch at the camp overlooking the Mara plains. After some rest, embark on your first afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly big cats like lions and cheetahs. Evening: Return to Ashnil Mara Camp to freshen up. Enjoy dinner under the stars at the camp’s dining area.
Morning: Early morning game drive to catch predators hunting at dawn and observe animals in their natural behavior. Return to Ashnil Mara Camp for a hearty breakfast. Day: Optional: Visit a nearby Maasai village to experience the local culture and traditions. Alternatively, enjoy some downtime at the camp—take photos, relax by the pool, or read. Afternoon: Another game drive in the late afternoon to explore different parts of the reserve, focusing on wildlife hotspots. Optional: Hot air balloon safari (extra cost) for a breathtaking aerial view of the Mara.
Morning: Early morning game drive to catch any wildlife missed previously and enjoy the peaceful morning atmosphere. Return to Ashnil Mara Camp for breakfast and pack up. Day: Depart Maasai Mara and head back to Nairobi by road or air. Stop for lunch en route or in Nairobi, depending on timing. Evening: Arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon or evening, marking the end of your safari.
