DAY 1
14:00: PICK UP AT SELECTED HOTEL
HALF DAY • AHU URI A’URENGA – S. ENGLERT MUSEUM – CATHOLIC CHURCH – HANGA ROA – LOCAL HANDCRAFT MARKET – TAHAI
Explore the Handcraft Market, Catholic Church, and the Archaeological Museum in Hanga Roa, all located on the main street of Hanga Roa village. Head to visit the Ahu Uri A’Urenga an ahu restored by William Muloy. Its position looking at the winter solstice; its location inside the island and his 4 arms and hands continue to intrigue archaeologists to this day. Before your tour ends visit the Tahai platform that compromises three principal ahu from north to south.
DAY 2
09:00: PICK UP AT SELECTED HOTEL
FULL DAY • AKAHANGA – RANO RARAKU – TONGARIKI – TE PITO KURA – ANAKENA (Lunch included)
Head to the southern coast and visit the Ceremonial Complex of Akahanga where you’ll see 100-ton basal moai guarding their sacred grounds. Get amazed by visiting Ahu Tongariki, the 15 moai standing. Visit Rano Raraku volcano where nearly 400 moai are scattered throughout the volcano rim in various stages of completion long after the mysterious disappearance of their carvers. After lunch, we’ll head to Te Pito Kura, the Navel of the world. End the day at Anakena, whose white sands were the landing place of Hotu Matu’a thought to have discovered the island. Visit Ahu Nau Nau at the platform of 7 moai.

DAY 3
09:00: PICK UP AT SELECTED HOTEL
FULL DAY • RANO KAU – ORONGO – PUNA PAU – AHU A’KIVI – VINAPU
You will start our tour heading to Rano Kau, a colorful volcano rising high above the Pacific with a freshwater lake filling its crater. Learn of the ‘bird man’ legend, see an amazing string of petroglyphs, and explore the ancient ruins of Orongo. Right after we’ll drive to visit Ahu A’Kivi a restored platform of 7 moai standing facing the sea- You will also see the Puna Pau quarry, a small volcano where the red scoria stone is found, which was used to make the headdresses or ‘topknots’ adorning some of the Moai. Visit Ahu Vinapu, whose Moai platform is heralded as the most intricate stonework on the island.
DAY 4
