Your adventure begins in Entebbe, Uganda, with a warm welcome and a stay at the elegant Hotel No.5. From there, you’ll travel to the misty forests of Bwindi National Park for a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. Guided by expert rangers, you’ll hike through the jungle and spend time in the presence of the incredible mountain gorillas on two separate days.

After your time in Uganda, you’ll fly to Kenya’s world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Here, you’ll explore the endless savannahs on thrilling game drives, with the chance to see Africa’s most iconic wildlife — lions, elephants, leopards, giraffes, and more. You’ll spend five nights at Sand River Masai Mara Camp, enjoying luxury tented suites, excellent hospitality, and unforgettable safari moments.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Kigali, Rwanda
Arrive in Kigali, Rwanda, where you will be warmly welcomed by our team. You will be transferred to your accommodation to relax and unwind after your journey.

Day 2: Kigali Genocide Memorial & Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving tribute that provides deep insight into the tragic events of 1994 and Rwanda’s path to recovery. Later, travel toward the Rwanda–Uganda border, complete immigration formalities, and continue to your lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing on gorilla trekking rules. You will then be grouped and assigned a specific gorilla family. Accompanied by guides, rangers, and porters, you will trek through dense rainforest in search of the gorillas, which can take between 2 to 6 hours. Once you locate them, spend one unforgettable hour in their presence, observing their behavior and interactions. Afterward, you will receive a gorilla trekking certificate before returning to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 4–6: Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya
On Day 4, after breakfast, fly from Bwindi to Entebbe, where you’ll connect to your onward flight to Kenya’s legendary Masai Mara Game Reserve. Upon arrival, transfer to your camp. If time allows, enjoy your first game drive in the Mara.

Spend the next three days exploring the vast savannahs of the Masai Mara, renowned for its spectacular wildlife. Experience exhilarating game drives in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and, during the season, the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. Return each evening to the comfort of your luxury camp.

Day 7: Visit the Maasai Community & Fly to Nairobi
This morning, immerse yourself in Maasai culture with a visit to a traditional village. Learn about their way of life, customs, and unique connection to the land. Later, fly to Nairobi and check into your elegant hotel, where you’ll spend the evening at leisure.

Day 8–9: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
On Day 8, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, a Mond Safaris representative will meet you and transfer you to Palm River Lodge. After checking in, relax before embarking on a scenic 2-hour sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. Dinner will be served at Ilala Lodge before returning to your hotel.

On Day 9, set out on a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Admire its stunning beauty, take photographs, and enjoy breathtaking views. Lunch will be at the Lookout Café, perched above the gorge. In the evening, unwind with a riverside dining experience at Palm River Lodge.

Day 10: Departure
