Learn to windsurf with an active but relaxing weekend in the Marbella area
Weekend camp (Friday) Saturday & Sunday
In Costa del Sol we can offer you windsurfing in the Mediterranean Sea all year round.
The camp is located between the cities of Marbella and Estepona in Costa del Sol, offering about 320 sunny days per year (e.g. temp October 24 day temp and water 20 degrees.) Marbella was nominated for Best Vacation Trip 2022 by the European Best Destinations portal.
The Surf Spot: The Atalaya beach for our camp is carefully handpicked by us. The bay offers good wind conditions in common directions (The Poniente wind and The Levante wind) the bay also gives increased security from drifting ashore. We have learned many beginners to windsurf here.
The camp activities: For our windsurfing coaching we apply a five-level education system linked to the dynamic boards. This camp is for beginners who want to learn the important basics of windsurfing. With good basics you move your windsurfing skills to the next level faster later on. During the days you windsurf up to 4 hours and it is also possible to borrow a board for SUP or do bodyboarding. We try to optimize the windsurfing session given the weather situation and participants’ arrival and departure times.
Kids
Kids under 12 years are welcome, but please check with us first, With young kids we want small groups so we can keep it safe and give them the attention they need. We also offer a family discount.
Instructor: Your instructor will be Henry or Johan
Flight: Book your flight to Malaga airport (e.g. use momondo.com to find a good deal). From the airport, you can go by the Avanza bus to Marbella.
Accommodation:
Our primary accommodation is a private cabin within walking distance from the camp. If this is already booked we arrange so you get your private bedroom in an apartment or hotel in the area next the surf camp. Please check with us before booking, if you have preferences about the accommodation.
