DESCRIPTION

Be captivated by an incredible experience where the art of beekeeping and the creation of natural products will open the door to the wonderful secret kingdom of bees inside the workshop of a farm in Flussio, in the Oristano area of western Sardinia.  

You will learn how these insects so important to our ecosystem live, what happens at different times of the year, and how you can use the products of the hive, such as honey, pollen and beeswax, to create food and cosmetic products. In particular, you will try your hand at making soap, starting with simple products, which you will take home. Your experience will end on a sweet note with a honey tasting. Don’t miss this unforgettable experience that will stimulate your mind, nourish your creativity and delight your senses.  

Your experience will take place within the processing workshop where you will be shown how soap bars can be made with vegetable soap bases, honey and essential oils. You will be directly involved in the preparation, and you will be able to take home the soap you make and benefit from its emollient and fragrant properties. During the breaks necessary for the solidification of the preparations, you will be shown the process of extracting honey and life in the beehive during the various seasons of the year. Finally, a tasting of the honey paired with traditional cheeses and desserts will follow.
