ArtCava: Crafting Tradition with Passion

ArtCava is the dream-turned-reality of two entrepreneurs, Èric and Ignasi, who combined their talents in winemaking and business to create something extraordinary. Established in 2004, our small winery is nestled in the heart of Penedès, one of Europe's most renowned wine regions, just 40 minutes from Barcelona.

Every year, we produce 18,000 bottles of artisan cava, made with care and authenticity—no chemicals, no shortcuts, just pure passion. Reviving Ignasi’s family legacy, which dates back to 1730, we breathed new life into an abandoned cellar while preserving its rustic charm and heritage.

ArtCava is more than a winery; it’s a space where history and modernity blend seamlessly. We embrace the philosophy of “slow journeys” and specialize in personalized wine tourism experiences that reflect our love for what we do.

Come visit us and discover the joy of cava-making in an enchanting setting. You’ll see why we’re not just running a business—we’re living our passion.

Vam fer el taller de “crea el teu propi cava” a ARTCAVA i ens va encantar. El Martí ho va fer excel·lent: proper, clar i molt professional. Experiència totalment recomanable!

This was the first of several cava tours on our trip, and it absolutely stood out as the most unique experience. Martí was an incredible guide! He was knowledgeable, humorous, and down to earth. He made us feel completely comfortable and brought an educational yet fun energy to the entire tour.

We loved exploring the cellar and learning about the cava-making process and what makes this craft so special to the region. But the real highlight was the hands-on disgorge and corking workshop. We got suited up and getting to bottle our own cava was such a memorable experience! It’s one thing to learn about a winery’s history and techniques, but being at a smaller local producer and actually participating in the process made this tour exceptional.

Martí was also incredibly communicative and accommodating leading up to our visit, and very flexible with our timeframe, which we really appreciated. And as a delightful surprise, they also brew fantastic beer, I especially loved their sparkling porter!

Highly, highly recommended. We’ll definitely visit again the next time we’re in the area. Thank you Martí!
