Hi, we’re Maya and Miguel, and we live in the beautiful village of Cascais with our two children.
Maya is Canadian-born and fell in love with Portugal (and me 🙂 ) more than a decade ago, and I (Miguel) was born and raised right here.
We both work as photographers, Maya works manly at kalijadephoto.com, a family business that over the years began working with international families vacationing in Portugal. Miguel works with lifestyle and landscape photography at thejonasjourney.com and he’s responsible for the scenic and photography workshop tours.

Since many international families staying in Portugal came to us to have their destination vacation photos taken, we would most often end up showing them a bit of our home and in the process Pictours was born. Pictours represents the perfect combination between our love for photography and the beautiful country we live in!
