We just returned from an 11-day cruise. One of the stops was at Motril, which is the port for Granada. I booked the guided tour of Alhambra with Spain Day Tours. The bus guide, Miguel, was awesome. Very informative. We were picked up on time and returned to the ship with plenty of time. We even had time for lunch in Granada, which is a lovely Spanish city. The highlight of the tour was the 3 hour guided tour of El Alhambra and the gardens of the Generalife. I highly recommend Spain Day Tours. They were professional and kept me informed from the moment I contacted them about the excursion.

September 2024 (Malaga to Alhambra & Bilbao to Guggenheim)

This review is long overdue, but our experiences with Spain Day Tours in September 2024 were exceptional and truly worth sharing.

We booked two shore excursions through them during our cruise:

From Malaga to the Alhambra
From the Bilbao port to the Guggenheim Museum
Both tours were incredibly well-organized, with modern and comfortable transportation. The guides were knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about sharing the history and culture of each destination. A special shout out to Robert, our tour guide at Alhambra. Robert is a gem! He was by far one of the best tour guides we had throughout our stay in Spain!

The Alhambra was absolutely breathtaking — a highlight of our trip — and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao was spectacular, both architecturally and artistically.

Spain Day Tours made everything seamless and enriching. Highly recommended for anyone looking for high-quality, reliable excursions in Spain.

This was a fantastic tour picked us up right at the port! Very easy transfer to the bus. The Alhambra portion was by an excellent local guide great info and great sight! So glad we got to go!

My family of 3 would highly recommend this tour company, as well as this day tour. Communication was always quick and thorough and pricing for a small group tour was excellent.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour in Alicante. We were met outside of our cruise ship and quickly got underway on our tour. We started out with a walk around the streets of Alicante to learn it's history and enjoy so many beautiful sights. It was a great morning.
We then boarded our bus to make our way along the coastline and then the mountains to Guadalest. Such a special place to visit. The views were magnificent and the town had such lovely shops and restaurants. After eating lunch, we boarded our bus and headed back to Allicante to visit the Castell De Santa Barbara Castle. Again, the panoramic views along the castle walls were wonderful and we enjoyed walking around the castle grounds. All too quickly, we headed back to port and were dropped off near our ship.

We could not have asked for a better guide to show us around, and share his love for this beautiful area.
