Payment and Cancellation Policy

1. Payment:
1.1. When booking a group tour through CollabJourneys, travelers are required to make full payment for the chosen tour at the time of booking.
1.2. Payment methods accepted on the platform include major credit cards and other payment options as specified during the booking process.
1.3. All payments made on CollabJourneys are securely processed through our payment gateway.

2. Cancellation and Refund:
2.1. Cancellation of a booked group tour is subject to the refund policy established by the partner organizing the tour.
2.2. Refund Rules: Our platform abides by the refund rules set by partners. Refunds are processed based on the cancellation period before the start of the tour.
2.3. Refund Calculation: The refund amount is calculated as follows:
The amount paid by the user, minus penalties imposed by the partner for cancellation within the specified period. An additional 5% deduction from the amount paid as a processing fee.
2.4. Minimum Deduction: In all cases, a minimum of 5% of the total amount paid will be withheld as a processing fee.


3. Refund Processing Time:
3.1. The refund period for users can extend up to 60 banking days from the date of cancellation. This period is dependent on the processing speed of bank transfers and the timeline for the return of funds from the partner to the CollabJourneys platform.
3.2. CollabJourneys will initiate the refund process promptly upon receiving confirmation from the partner about the cancellation and refund amount.
3.3. The refunded amount will be returned to the user's original payment method, i.e., the bank card used for the booking.

4. Disputes and Communication:
4.1. In the event of any disputes related to refunds or cancellations, users are encouraged to contact CollabJourneys' customer support.
4.2. CollabJourneys will work as an intermediary to facilitate communication between the user and the partner to resolve any refund-related issues.

5. Exceptions:
5.1. CollabJourneys is not responsible for any disputes arising from the partner's refund policies. The partner's refund policy is the primary determinant of the refund amount and timeline.
5.2. Refund policies might vary between different partners and tours. Users are advised to carefully review the refund policy of the specific tour before making a booking.

6. Changes to the Payment and Cancellation Policy:
6.1. CollabJourneys reserves the right to modify or update this Payment and Cancellation Policy at any time.
6.2. Users will be notified of significant changes to the policy, and the updated version will be made available on the CollabJourneys platform.
