Bread of Matera
Our experiential tour includes an educational workshop on bread making with a prior presentation and description of the company, which has been active in the area for four generations. It all begins with the explanation of the products used, such as: the best semolina of the territory and mother yeast. We continue with the entrance to the laboratory where the master baker will describe the processing techniques: kneading, leavening, making the shape of the bread and issuing the stamp type that characterizes the Matera bread.
During the making of the loaves of bread, guests will have the opportunity to put their hands in the dough by working and creating their loaf of bread that at the end of cooking they can take away with them.
At the end of the process, guests can end this experiential tour with a tasting of typical products in a designated area where they can comfortably relax.
