Start your day with a local mouthwatering “bougatsa breakfast” at one of the oldest local family-run shops, passing from generation to generation. There, you’ll be tantalized by the aroma of freshly baked delicacies from wood-fired ovens, the sight of vendors skillfully

crafting traditional Cretan pastries such as kalitsounia and bougatsa, served with a Greek coffee either a herbal “malotira” tea from the White Mountains!

Alerted and repleted we are more than ready to explore the talked-about Old Town of Chania. Wander through the charming alleys where history and culinary delights await. Discover hidden gems nested within the Venetian, Turkish, and Jewish quarters, and find the

most authentic shops if you like to buy local products! Engage with local artisans, and masters of their crafts, as they showcase traditional pottery, leather goods, and artisanal knives.

Please note: If the experience is in the afternoon, we replace the breakfast with traditional Cretan ice cream!
