Embark on a thrilling 4-day safari adventure through Kenya’s iconic landscapes. Explore the stunning Lake Nakuru, home to flamingos and rare species like the Rothschild giraffe and rhino. Conclude your adventure with scenic views of the Great Rift Valley before returning to Nairobi, carrying unforgettable safari memories.
Depart from Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Masai Mara through The Great African Rift Valley and Narok Town. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch and a brief rest, you will embark on your afternoon game drive feasting your eyes on the marvels that Masai Mara has to offer. All members of the big 5 are found in this reserve. Other animals seen here include cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland among others. Different bird species are also found. They include eagles, vultures, ostriches, storks, little grebe, pelicans, cormorants & darter. In the evening you will retire to your lodge, have dinner and fall asleep to the sounds of the African bush. Accommodation at Lenchada Tourist Camp or similar Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
In the morning, you'll depart your camp for a full-day excursion into the Masai Mara Game Reserve, which is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It's the most famous and most visited game reserve in the country. Here, you can easily view an array of wildlife, including gazelle, impala, antelope, giraffe, elephant, buffalo, and warthog, as well as the big cat species, such as leopard, cheetah, and lion. In the evening, you'll return to camp where you can relax on your personal veranda, swim in the pool, view the elephants from the lounge, or enjoy a drink in the bar before dinner. Accommodation at Lenchada Tourist Camp or similar Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
After early breakfast, you can opt for an optional Masai Village visit. Otherwise, depart for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch and check-in at the lodge. After a short period of relaxation you will head for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famous for the flocks of the greater and lesser Flamingo that gather around the lake numbering around 2 million, which turns the lake pink. This has given the lake a nickname; the pink lake. The endangered rhino and Rothschild giraffe are found in the park. Other animals found in the park include African buffalos, zebras, impalas, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, waterbucks, hyenas, jackals, and hippopotamus among many others. After early breakfast, proceed for an en-route game drive in the park to see the lion, buffalo, hyena, water buck, and the antelope. Depart for Nairobi with lunch on the way and a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. You will arrive in Nairobi in the evening where you will be dropped off at the hotel / airport with lots of treasured memories.
