Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel at 7:30 AM. Meet your guide, chef, and fellow travelers, then set off on a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its diverse landscape and ancient Baobab trees, this park is home to the largest concentration of elephants in the country.
Enjoy a game drive, searching for predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras. Stop at Tarangire River picnic site for lunch, taking in the breathtaking view of the river and animals. Afterward, continue with the game drive before heading to your accommodation.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for a breathtaking view. Optionally, visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture.
Arrive in the Serengeti in the late afternoon and embark on a game drive in Seronera, the park’s center. Experience the sunset while observing wild animals, and if you’re lucky, witness a predator hunting or on a kill. Spend the night at Seronera campsite.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, go on a morning game drive, spotting a variety of animals. Return to camp for lunch, then pack up and exit the Serengeti, heading to Simba campsite near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. Keep an eye out for animals at the campsite.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at 6:15 AM, aiming to spot the elusive black rhino. The crater’s floor makes spotting other animals easier.
