The GONDOLA is the most famous Venetian means of transport: we are offering you the chance to discover the city from a totally DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW! You will embark on a gondola (up to 6 people per gondola) for a 35 minutes ride on the GRAND CANAL (S. Maria della Salute Area) and other minor canals (FENICE AREA). The tour will end with the landing at the Station VALLARESSO (Dogana).
This experience is not to be missed: the success of this particular means of transport is due to its unparalleled speed and maneuverability. What is more, its construction is more difficult than it seems to be, as it takes almost 1 year: the gondola is composed by 280 different pieces and 8 different types of wood…A real masterpiece of craftmanship.
