Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the most sought-after trekking routes in Nepal that offers the adventurous journey around the Annapurna Massif. This trek takes you through diverse landscapes, from lush subtropical forests to high-altitude desert terrain, with Annapurna I (8,091m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,163m), and Machhapuchhre (6,993m) providing excellent views along the way.
The track takes an ancient trail popular for the trek passing through Thorong La Pass (5,416m), which is one of the highest trekking passes in the world. Thus, trekkers on the way meet traditional Gurung, Thakali, and Manangi villages, and local people who will accompany them for a while and see Buddhist monasteries that are the best part of the cultural experience- mani walls and chortens. The trek will also bring us to the Marshyangdi Valley, Kali Gandaki Gorge (the world’s deepest gorge), and Muktinath Temple, which is considered to be sacred for Hindus and Buddhists and thus a popular pilgrimage site.
