This 3-night 4 days Bhutan Tour. Designed for those interested in seeing the major landmarks of the Paro Valley and Thimphu in the shortest possible time. Where it’s hard to travel without stopping to get out and point the cameras at something new. The 3-night 4 days Bhutan Tour journey begins once you land at Paro Airport. The Alpine Club of Himalaya representative will pick you up and assist you to your accommodation. Once you check in you’ll head on a guided, tour of Paro. Visit various impressive sights, including Jangtsa Dumtseg Lhakhang, a 15th-century Buddhist temple, Rinpung Dzong a Buddhist monastic fortress. Bhutan’s national museum, and Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. After exploring Paro head towards Thimphu, the capital and the largest city in Bhutan situated in the linear valley of the Thimpu River. Here, hike the extraordinary Paro Taktsang, renowned as the Tiger’s Nest set on a sheer cliff a majestic sight. Visit important landmarks and ancient temples and monasteries of the city such as the National Memorial Chorten, Drubthob Goemba, and the majestic Tashichho Dzong as well as the gigantic Buddha Dordenma. After exploring the wonder of Bhutan the tour will end at Paro. Be a part of this adventure with the Alpine Club of Himalaya.

Day 1: Arrive in Paro and drive to Thimphu. Drive Time: 2 Hours.
 
Enjoy an amazing vista of the Himalayas as you approach Bhutan. The Alpine Club of Himalaya representative will receive you at the airport and drive you to your accommodation. After checking into the hotel, head out on a guided tour of Paro. Visit various sites around the city including Dungste Lhakang, a 15th-century temple, Rinpung Dzong a fortress-monastery, the National Museum of Bhutan, and Kichu Lhakhang, Bhutan’s oldest temple.
 
Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing.

Today you will be unfolding the various secrets of Thimphu. Start by visiting Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery and Takin Sanctuary. Next, head towards the Indigenous Hospital, Textile Museum, Heritage Museum, Traditional School of arts & crafts, and Tashicho Dzong. Later explore Zangdopelri temple, the renowned paper factory, and other various landmarks.

Day 3: Thimphu to Paro

Head towards Paro Taktsang also known as The Tiger’s Nest built on a sheer cliff in the late 17th century, this monastery is where Guru Padmasambhava meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days, and three hours in the 8th century. The hike to the monastery takes around four to five hours. Lunch will be served at the restaurant located halfway up the mountain. Enjoy enchanting views of the Paro Valley before retracing your way down. After the tour is completed head towards your accommodation.

Day 4: Final Departure

Today you’ll be leaving Bhutan. The Alpine Club of Himalaya representative will drop you at the airport approximately 1-hour before your flight.
