Experience a morning workshop in Porto Torres, in northern Sardinia, where you can learn the secrets of pasta making according to the Sardinian tradition
An experience for all fans or simply curious about typical Sardinian recipes: a laboratory of fresh pasta in Porto Torres, in the kitchens of a real restaurant! You will discover how to prepare symbolic dishes of Sardinia: the “culurgiones ogliastrini”, “maccarones de busa” and Sardinian gnocchi. Your teachers for a day will be Simona and Annarita, who carry on the regional traditions inherited from generations and generations. A laboratory that will be created according to your level of preparation, where you can learn the basics to repeat at home. It starts with a well-come breakfast and ends with a nice taste and taking away the product. Finally, if you want, you can stay for a well-deserved lunch!
Program:
– Arrival at the estate at 9:00 am
– Welcome breakfast
– Start of the course at 9.30 am
– End of the course at 12:30 am
The aim of the workshop is to tell and teach participants the realization of Sardinian handicraft pasta:
– Culurgiones ogliastrini
– Maccarones de busa
– Gnocchi sardi
Being three traditional pasta processes, about 45 minutes will be dedicated per type.
Each participant will take home everything they have produced.
