We’ll depart at 9:00 a.m. for Santoña, one of Cantabria’s most important fishing villages, famous for its world-renowned anchovies. Our visit includes a behind-the-scenes tour of Conservas Emilia, a traditional anchovy factory where you’ll witness the intricate, handcrafted production process that makes these delicacies so special. Afterward, enjoy a short scenic drive around Santoña’s port, seafront promenade, and the beautiful bay.
Next, we head to Bodegas Vidular, a family-run winery known for producing some of the region’s best white wines. Stroll through the vineyards, learn about the winemaking process, and conclude your visit with a tasting session, accompanied by a small snack.
We then travel to the picturesque Pasiego Valleys, where you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (not included). Afterward, take in the spectacular landscapes on a panoramic drive, culminating at the Mirador de la Braguía, a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the Cantabrian Mountains.
Our final stop is Selaya, home to Sobaos Joselín, the largest Sobaos and Quesadas factory in the region. Here, you’ll tour the facilities, explore the Sobao and Quesada Museum, and enjoy a guided tasting of these famous Cantabrian pastries.
After this unforgettable day of flavors and landscapes, we will return to Santander, arriving around 6:30 p.m..
