Montepulciano: discover a genuine Tuscan farmhouse, with typical lunch

The Cinta Senese tour allows you to enjoy a unique experience visiting a genuine Tuscan farm: The visit begins with a spectacular view of Montepulciano among the age-old cypresses, following a walking path between olive trees and precious vineyards, where you will learn the history of olive groves and grapes cultivation. Along the way you will also find benches to rest, enjoying the beautiful landscape of Valdichiana. Afterwards, you will observe the pig farm, with the Cinta Senese pigs. You wiil be informed about this local breeds and their habitat. If you wish, you will also have the possibility to have contact with animals, move into the grazing area, in the food area, see the baths in the mud of the swines and the collection area of excrement. 

On the way back, you will pass by the plum trees, the garden and the low vineyard, proceeding towards the visit of the cellar.

You will also meet the tractor and see the tools before arriving at the tasting point, where you will have your light lunch at the end of the tour.
