Day 01: Arrival; Bagdogra airport to Darjeeling| Drive
Upon our arrival at the nearest airports Bagdogra where our assistant will meet you with transport to Darjeeling – about 3-4 hours. The journey through Assam tea plantations and tiny villages takes us to Darjeeling. Built on top of a ridge, Darjeeling faces the Himalayas and provides a broad introduction to Nepalese culture in addition to its old colonial feel. Overnight comfortable stay in your hotel in Darjeeling (2130m).

Day 02: Explore Darjeeling
Early morning drive to the Tiger hill. Situated at an altitude of 2590 meters Tiger hill has earned international fame for the magnificent view of the sunrise. After Tiger Hill visit Yiga
Choling Monastery of Ghoom. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, a high altitude wildlife Zoo with the most successful captive breeding center for Snow leopard and Red Panda. After this visit, you may proceed to Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center and then Tea Garden. Evening free for Market. Take a UNESCO Heritage Toy Train ride as per ticket availability.

Day 03: Darjeeling – Sang Khola
After Breakfast, drive to Sang Khola (approx. 110 km & 05-06 hours drive). Enroute visit Pemayangtse Monastery. After Lunch Drive to Sang Khola.

Day 04: Sang Khola to Nayapatal | Trek
After Breakfast, trekking begins from Sang khola to Nayapatal (12 Km. approx. 6 – 7 Hours).

Day 05: Nayapatal to Yambong | Trek
After Breakfast, trekking begins from Nayapatal to Yambong (10 Km. approx. 5 – 6 Hours).

Day 06: Yambong to Jomlae Pokhari | Trek
After Breakfast, trekking begins from Yambong to Jomlae Pokhari (10 Km. approx. 5 – 6Hours).

Day 07:Jomlae Pokhari to Gomathang | Trek
After Breakfast, trekking begins from Jomlae Pokhari to Yangshyap (12 Km. approx. 6 – 7 Hours).

Day 08: Gomathang to Pangden | Trek
After Breakfast, trekking begins from Gomathang to Pangden (approx. 4 – 5 Hours).

Day 09: Pangden to Dzongri | Trek
After Breakfast, trekking begins from Pangden to Dzongri (approx. 5 – 6 Hours).

Day 10: Dzongri to Lamune | Trek
After Breakfast, trekking begins from Dzongri to Lamune (approx. 5 – 6 Hours).

Day 11: Lamune to Goecha La View Point Thangsing | Trek
An early start today to beat the inclement weather conditions that is common during the latter part of the day. Set off in the early morning climbing the hill behind the Lake before traversing the moraine and then descending to the sandy bed of an empty lake. The whole area above Samiti Lake is called the Zemathang Plateau. You cross this under the shadow of Pandim and then ascend moraine to a height of about 15,700 feet where you rest above a glaciated lake mottled with snow and icy pinnacles. The Goecha-La View Point is another hour away. We traverse the lake and proceed across a slope, and then on a well-trodden path to our objective, which is festooned with brightly colored prayer flags. The views of the east flank of Khangchendzonga and the mountains and valleys in the distance are stunning. We then return to our campsite at Samiti Lake. Overnight camping. Please note that You are allowed to trek till 1st View Point; the Forest Department will not permit you to travel beyond this 1st point as of now.

Day 12: Thangsing to Tshoka | Trek
It’s worth getting up early to take a short hike to the ridge behind the camp. From here there are fantastic views of Khangchendzonga and one can look back up to the Goecha La. Leaving Thangsing, you take a different route, avoiding the long climb to the Dzongri Plateau. Descending to the Prek Chu, you contour around jungle to emerge at Phedang. Continue to Tshoka along another steep descent. This will save us a day on the return march, but does involve quite a long day. Overnight camping.

Day 13: Tshoka to Yuksom
Our final day, and freewheeling downhill almost all of the time. We descend through rainforest rich with bird-life and flowers, across spectacular bridges spanning cascading
rivers whose sources are high in the mountains we have so recently left behind. Tired and elated we arrive in Yuksom and our charming traditional hilltop hotel. This will be our last evening with the trekking crew so we will be celebrating our achievements, and a final thank you to the local staff.

Day 14: Yuksom – Kalimpong
After breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Kalimpong. On arrival check-in to hotel. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.

Day 15: Departure: Kalimpong to Bagdogra airport
After breakfast, Check out from hotel & transfer to Bagdogra (IXB) Airport (approx. 80 km & 04 hours drive).
