Real Desert Sand dunes: 2 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech

About this tour

Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountaisn – Ait Ben Hadou – Zagora – M’hamid Desert.

We leave at 7:00 AM through the Atlas Mountains (beautiful scenery and authentic Berber villages). Once we arrive Ait Ben Hadou you will have 2 hours to discover the Kasbah and have lunch.

After lunch, we drive through Ouarzazate (the capital of cinema in Africa), Agdz Draa valley and Zagora. Then we continue till M’hamid Desert Erg Lihoudi where we will enjoy camel trek in the desert by Erg Lihoudi Dunes. We arrive at the camp half an hour before sunset to take a mint tea with the nomads in the camp. Then we go over the dunes to see the sunset. All what you have to do at night is to look to the sky to enjoy plenty of amazing stars.

Day 2: Sahara – Zagora – Agdz – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech.

The second day we will wake up before sunrise to see the first light of the day (magic lights before sunrise). After that we will have breakfast in the camp. Later, upon the camels we will join our vehicles; to start our journey back to Marrakech. On the way back we stop to visit Ouarzazate. We continue till Marrakech around 18:30.
