The journey continues to Santiago de Chile to tour that city bordering the Andes mountain range and ending in Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of architecture and engineering.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Rio de Janeiro

Arrival at the airport and transfer to your accommodation.

Day 2 Half Day Sugar Loaf with ascent & City Tour

Departure to visit the Sugar Loaf, located in the Urca neighborhood, 395 meters high. The ascent is done in two stages to the summit: first you take a cable car to the Urca hill, and then take another to the Sugar Loaf hill. From the summit, you can have a beautiful and unforgettable view of Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Botafogo, Flamengo and Copacabana, Niterói, the Urca neighborhood, among other places. The tour will also visit the center and the main historical attractions of the city. Back to the hotel.

Day 4 Day at Leisure

Day at leisure to discover the city.

Day 5 From Rio de Janeiro to Puerto Iguazú

Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Iguassu. Arrival and transfer to your accommodation.

Day 6 Brazilian side of the Falls Half Day Tour

The Iguaçu National Park, in Brazil, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986, two years after the name of the Iguazú National Park, in Argentina. The IBAMA (Brazilian Institute of the Environment) manages this Park and it is currently in the process of revitalization, like the Parque Argentino. The visiting area is made up of a single walkway circuit that faces the falls, offering a truly impressive panoramic view. The circuit measures 1,200 meters with steps that make it impossible to use a wheelchair. At the end of the circuit there is an elevator. The staircase to ascend has 130 steps in 220 meters in length. Autoguided tour.

Day 7 Argentinian side of the Falls Full Day Tour

In the morning, we will take a tour of the Argentinian side of the Iguassu Falls. The excursion consists of a scenic observation walk, during which we will explore the geological formation of the Iguazu Falls from different viewpoints. This immersive experience in nature will allow us to appreciate how, for millions of years, over 200 waterfalls have continuously created a breathtaking natural spectacle, placing us in a truly unique and unparalleled setting. The itinerary includes three completely different trails, each offering distinct perspectives. These guided tours are led and coordinated by National Park guides and naturalists who work with the objective of connecting humans with nature and vice versa. Day 8 From Iguazú to Buenos Aires

Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 9 Buenos Aires City Tour & Dinner Tango Show

This excursion transmits the emotion of a multiple Buenos Aires. We will know the symbol of our city: the Obelisk. We will visit squares such as those of Mayo, San Martín and Alvear. Avenues: Corrientes, De Mayo, 9 de Julio, among others. Neighborhoods with history like La Boca and San Telmo, sumptuous like Palermo and Recoleta, modern like Puerto Madero. The Lezama and Tres de Febrero parks, and commercial and financial areas and a Soccer Stadium. In the evening you will have dinner at El Viejo Almacén, one of the oldest tango houses in the city, where the most important figures in the history of Argentine music and poetry met. Enjoy a dinner with the best national and international cuisine and an excellent tango show. (Includes dinner with first course, second course, dessert and drinks).

Day 11 From Buenos Aires to Santiago de Chile

Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Santiago de Chile. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 12 Santiago de Chile City Tour

We will begin on the main street in the city center, Avenida Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins (better known as Alameda), where we will visit La Moneda Presidential Palace, a neoclassical building that holds a significant part of Chilean history. We will walk through the pedestrian promenades of Huérfanos and Ahumada. Next, we will climb Cerro Santa Lucía, a beautiful and historically important site that served as a strategic point for the founding of the city. We will then cross the Mapocho River to reach Barrio Bellavista, a neighborhood known for its vibrant cultural and artistic scene, as well as being one of the most popular areas for Santiago’s nightlife. Finally, we will explore the new city center, visiting Providencia and the districts of Las Condes and Vitacura, which represent the growth and modernity of Santiago. We will then return to the hotel.

Day 13 Viña del Mar and Valparaíso Full Day tour

We will begin our experience from your hotel towards the coast to visit Valparaíso, a city that was the main port on the Pacific Ocean during the 19th century and which today is one of the main tourist destinations in Chile thanks to its vibrant culture and unique architecture. We will also visit Viña del Mar, a beautiful coastal city known for its gardens and pleasant beaches.

Day 14 From Santiago de Chile to Lima

Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lima. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 15 Half Day City Tour in Lima

At the coordinated time in the morning we will enjoy our City Tour, we will go to the famous Parque del Amor located in Miraflores, where we will have a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, our guide will give us a panoramic visit to the Huaca Pucllana and then visit the center of the In the city of Lima, we will visit the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral and the Municipality, to finish we will visit the Convent of San Francisco where we will discover the mysterious underground passages of the Catacombs of Lima. Then we return to the hotel.

Day 16 Fly from Lima to Cusco & City Tour Cusco

Transfer to the airport. Flight to Cusco. Rest of the day at leisure to rest. In the afternoon, we will start our tour visiting the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha) and the Sacsayhuaman fortress, an immense building with large stones, undoubtedly one of the best architectural works that the Incas made. We will continue with the Qenqo Fortress with passages and canals, Puca Pucará, an Inca storage place and Tambomachay, a place of water rituals. Return to the city of Cusco.

Day 17 From Cusco to Sacred Valley

Early in the morning we will begin our journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit the popular Pisaq Market, recognized for its quality crafts. Lunch in Urubamba, we will enjoy a walk through the Ollantaytambo fortress. Return to the hotel.

Day 18 Full Day Tour to Machu Picchu

Pick up at the hotel to transfer you to the Poroy station where your train trip will begin to the town of Aguas Calientes. Then we will board the bus to Machu Picchu and start our tour of one of the 7 Wonders of the World, considered a World Heritage Site. A beautiful sanctuary that served as a resting place for the Inca Pachacútec. We will taste our lunch. At the scheduled time, we will return by train to Cusco.

Day 19 End of the Journey
