Vigo and Baiona Shore Excursion – The Best of Both Places!
For the Vigo and Baiona day trip, we will start by visiting Baiona and the Fortress of Monterreal which offers great views over the islands. We then make our way to the historic quarter where, after a walk with our local expert guide you will have some free time to enjoy the atmosphere of this picturesque town.
After Baiona we will head to Vigo and take in the stunning views of the bay from El Castro where you will find a ruined 17th century hilltop fortress. We will then descend down into the historic quarter and experience the sights, sounds and tastes of this very intriguing city. Just before the tour ends the guide will suggest some restaurants where you can have the opportunity to taste the local dishes and tapas of this region (extra). Galicia is well known in Spain for its great quality food and wine.
