A journey into Bhutan through spectacular mountain passes and crystal-clear mountain lakes combined with cultural experiences is what you need to escape a mundane city life and recharge your mind and body with positivity.
On this 10-Day epic journey including a 6-Day adventurous trek through the pristine environment adorned with several crystal-clear mountain lakes, stunning views of the entire Himalayan mountain range and some of the world’s highest peaks including Mt. Everest, Mt. Jomolhari, Mt. Masang Gang, Mt. Jichu Drake, Mt. Gangchen Ta, you’ll discover what sets Bhutan apart from the rest of the world. The trail also takes you through several Bhutanese villages so you can get a good idea of traditional Bhutanese village life. You’ll also come across yak herders who live a semi-nomadic lifestyle at an altitude of over 3,500m above sea level. The best time to embark on this trek is between March-June or September–November.
Day 6 of the trip will be dedicated to visiting some of the picturesque mountain lakes where you can engage in trout fishing at an altitude of 4,300m/14,105ft. This day can also be spent resting and studying the pristine surroundings and appreciating the natural beauty of the landscapes. Those interested to engage in trout fishing must bring their own fishing equipment and let us know in advance so that we can arrange a fishing permit. One-day fishing permit cost is USD10.
