Palma De Mallorca and Valldemossa

Palma awaits you all year round. Get to know the history of the city by strolling through the heart of its old quarter. Its Roman, Muslim and Christian past make it an amazing city to visit. The half-day tour takes you through its peaceful streets where you will discover the rich heritage of its buildings, squares, palaces, courtyards and gardens, like the cathedral, the Almudaina Palace, the city’s ancient walls, the Lonja building, or the City Hall. Also, enjoy the most beautiful panoramic view of the city from the Bellver Castle.

You will also visit the charming village of Valldemossa, which is only a 30-minute drive from Palma, nestled in the mountains on the western part of the island.

This small village is a jumble of cobbled lanes and houses with walls totaling up the sunny slopes. The place was always ideal for writers and music composers seeking inspiration. No wonder that Frederic Chopin and George Sand spent the romantic winter of 1838-1839 in Valldemossa´s Carthusian Monastery with its beautiful gardens and 17th and 18th century cloisters. A mini piano concert in the Palace of King Sancho is organized every hour and it is included with the entrance fee to this unique attraction (8 Euros extra if wanted).

My husband and I went on the Spain Day Tours from Malaga to Granada to see the
Alhambra which was outstanding. The tour was very well organized and the guide was excellent. We were walking the entire time on cobblestones for 2 1/2 hours. We did not get to go into Granada for it was a Sunday and very crowded however that did not bother us for we were pre warned that may happen. We are so glad we took this tour.

This tour from our cruise ship to Alhambra (Malaga) was exceptional. Our group was only 15 as one couple had to back out but we were transported in a very comfortable bus with a restroom stop half way to the Alhambra. Tickets were gotten for us in advance with our names on them and it was a smooth entrance with our passports. The guide was super knowledgeable about the whole area and very easy to understand. Would have liked a few moments to purchase souvenirs along the street on the way back to the bus. Price was more than half the price as our ship's tour and much smaller group. No worries about returning to the ship on time. Ample time. Thank you Emilia for all your guidance in booking this tour.

Our excursion to Ronda was everything we hoped it would be. Our guide was very informative and the views of the fabulous new bridge and the gorge were incredible! The white village of Mijas was equally charming and a great place to visit. Both are places not to be missed! Thank you SpainDay for another great experience!

HI Emilia! I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful excursion that my wife & I took with Spain Day Tours from Malaga to Granada/Alhambra palace. While the destination in itself is amazing and we are so happy to experience it, your staff/guides made sure that the tour went smoothly and exceeded our expectations. We felt comfortable from the moment that we left our cruise ship and were met by one of your guides (I’m sorry, I don’t recall her name, British lady), and made sure we boarded the right bus. Throughout our journey to Alhambra, she provided us with interesting and relevant information on the region, history, agriculture and industry. After our tour of the Alhambra palace in Granada, she gave us hints on lunch, how to get tapas 😊 and how to get to points of interest. On the way back to Malaga, she had the bus stop so that those that wanted to get off to experience the Christmas lights downtown, told us the times for the light shows and pointed out exactly where we could get the ship’s shuttle later. Our tour of Alhambra was just as wonderful. Carlos, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions, pointed out features that I’m sure we would have missed. He proceeded at a comfortable pace, never rushing us. It was quite evident that he is passionate about his job and the Alhambra with its history. This tour was the highlight of our cruise and your staff/guides were exceptional. We would definitely recommend this tour and Spain Day Tours to anyone.

In early November we did the Motril to Granada/Alhambra day tour. I would highly recommend this tour. We were picked up at the port, transported to Granada in the luxury coach. Our transportation was waiting for us as we exited our cruise. We enjoyed both the guide on the bus and the guide for the Alhambra tour. Both were extremely knowledgeable and great people to spend the day with!

We recently did a Spain Day Tour excursion. Our cruise ship was docked in Cadiz and we wanted to go to Seville for the day. They met us at the pier. Big coach but once in Seville they broke us up into smaller groups. We had a lovely day. We've used this company before and that why we again used them.
