Your journey begins in Entebbe, where a representative from Mond Safaris will warmly welcome you upon arrival. You’ll be transferred to your hotel to relax and settle in before starting your exciting safari the following day.
This thoughtfully designed itinerary offers some of Uganda’s finest wildlife encounters. Along the way, you’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an up-close rhino tracking experience before heading to the famous Murchison Falls National Park. Here, enjoy thrilling game drives and a scenic boat safari along the Nile.
The adventure continues in Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to an incredible variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, and more. From breathtaking scenery to unforgettable animal encounters, this safari promises a once-in-a-lifetime experience in the Pearl of Africa.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda
Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a Mond Safaris representative will greet you right after you disembark. They will assist with customs and baggage, then introduce you to your guide. From here, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and acclimatize to Uganda’s warm environment.

Day 2 & 3: Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, set off from Serena Hotel on a scenic 5–6 hour drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience before continuing to the park.
On Day 3, enjoy a morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. Expect to see elephants, lions, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribi, bushbucks, reedbucks, and hyenas. Later, visit the Top of the Falls (time permitting) before returning to the lodge to relax.

Day 4 & 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
On Day 4, depart early after breakfast and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Masindi–Hoima–Fort Portal road. This route rewards you with sweeping views of the Albertine Escarpment along the western rift valley. Lunch will be served en route.
On Day 5, start with a morning game drive through the park. Keep your eyes out for elephants, Cape buffalo, Uganda kobs, lions, leopards, warthogs, waterbucks, bushbucks, and spotted hyenas. After lunch at the lodge, enjoy a private boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of bird species along the water.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Lake Mburo
After breakfast, head to Kalinzu Forest near Queen Elizabeth for chimpanzee trekking. Watch these intelligent primates feeding, playing, calling, and interacting in their natural habitat. Afterwards, continue to Lake Mburo National Park, where you can relax or take an evening game drive if time allows.

Day 7: Walking Safari in Lake Mburo & Return to Entebbe
Start your morning with a walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. This unique experience lets you observe zebras, impalas, elands, sitatungas, bushbucks, duikers, and other herbivores up close. Later, depart for Entebbe and check in at your lodge for your final night.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your onward journey. We hope your safari leaves you with unforgettable memories of Uganda’s wildlife and natural beauty.
