Meet the sami-people and feed the reindeer
Ready to experience the Sami culture? Join us on an exciting journey to Lavangsdalen, just a 30-minute bus ride from Tromsø. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by a friendly Sami family who will share fascinating stories about their rich culture, traditions, and history.
During your visit, you will have the chance to feed reindeer and try throwing a lasso on reindeer antlers (if there is enough time) just like the Sami do when gathering their reindeer. You will also enjoy light snacks and warm beverages in a cosy cabin while listening to Sami stories.
By the end don’t miss out on the chance to buy real Sami handmade products. Each item is unique and perfect as a gift or a special souvenir from your trip.
This tour is ideal for families, making it a fun and educational experience for kids aged 6 and up. With our small group size (maximum 32 people), you will enjoy a personal and intimate experience with your guides and fellow travellers.
Please note that this tour does not include sledding.
