The touristic village of Qeparo unveils its breathtaking location right after the Palermo bay. It’s a village which has attracted an immense number of tourists. Himara lies in the south west of Albania in the Ionian seaside.
Qeparo village has fascinating views and beautiful traditional architecture. Its cobbled alleys and old churches make magnificent subjects. The iliro/ kaone epigrams within the walls of certain buildings also show a special interest. Within the territory of Qeparo there used to be eight churches in total. Also, in the village, sits the castle of Ali Pasha Tepelena, which was designed by the French army architect and nowadays displays special architectonic and touristic values. The Himara region is characterized by its mountainous surroundings and hills which decend directly into the crystal -clear sea. The region has a Mediterranean climate and it is well known as a most attractive point of tourism.
