Palma De Mallorca and Valldemossa
Palma awaits you all year round. Get to know the history of the city by strolling through the heart of its old quarter. Its Roman, Muslim and Christian past make it an amazing city to visit. The half-day tour takes you through its peaceful streets where you will discover the rich heritage of its buildings, squares, palaces, courtyards and gardens, like the cathedral, the Almudaina Palace, the city’s ancient walls, the Lonja building, or the City Hall. Also, enjoy the most beautiful panoramic view of the city from the Bellver Castle.
You will also visit the charming village of Valldemossa, which is only a 30-minute drive from Palma, nestled in the mountains on the western part of the island.
This small village is a jumble of cobbled lanes and houses with walls totaling up the sunny slopes. The place was always ideal for writers and music composers seeking inspiration. No wonder that Frederic Chopin and George Sand spent the romantic winter of 1838-1839 in Valldemossa´s Carthusian Monastery with its beautiful gardens and 17th and 18th century cloisters. A mini piano concert in the Palace of King Sancho is organized every hour and it is included with the entrance fee to this unique attraction (8 Euros extra if wanted).
At the end of the tour we will return you safely to your ship 100% on time! We have never been late to any ship departure, but if this ever happens, we guarantee to pay all the costs for getting you to the next port of call.
We are very experienced with cruise passengers and look forward to welcoming you at the port of Palma.
